My name is Shelbi Sturges and I’m the owner of DragonflyBlueDesign.

I’m a Chicago-based designer who specializes in branding and packaging design. Packaging has been my passion for over 20 years. From cereal to shampoo, to diapers and frozen entrees, I’ve designed it all!

Not only have I designed many different food and non-food brands that are in the marketplace today, I have also created and developed many brands in various retail tiers, including, value, mainstream, premium, pet, home & office and organic.

Thinking like a consumer is key when creating a successful brand and package. I love the challenge of creating a design that is not only attractive and eye-catching, but is able to tell a story to the consumer in a matter of seconds -- what it is, what it does and what it will do. The ultimate goal? Having them pick it up and throw it in their cart!
